BATIK AIR READY TO ADD MORE INTERNATIONAL ROUTES


Lion Air Group, the largest low budget airline in Indonesia, is preparing to expand its international flight route.

"Batik Air will soon open the second Australian flight route in Sydney, Korea, Japan and China," said Batik Air General Manager of Service Poerwoko Soeparyono to the Harian Nasional, Wednesday (16/8) in Tangerang, Banten on the sidelines free delivery of tickets to passengers who win quizzes fly to Perth and Chennai.
He said, since three weeks ago Batik Air is already planning the launch of flight expansion into Europe.

Batik Air is also following the footsteps of its elder brother, Lion Air, to spread its wings to the Middle East, including serving Hajj flights; currently only a new Umrah service has been done. According to Poerwoko, currently his agency is preparing all technical, administrative, and evaluation.

Poerwoko said Batik Air's flight to Perth is scheduled twice a day, while the destination to Chennai is shared with Malindo Air, also a subsidiary of Lion Air Group.
