PONTIANAK (HN) - Batik Air, a subsidiary of Lion Air Group, will open the Pontianak-Jakarta route and vice versa. "On April 28, 2017 our first flight starts," said Lion Group Manager, Novianti Harahap in Pontianak, 25/4).
Novianti explains the presence of Batik Air in West Kalimantan as it sees Pontianak and the surrounding city is very potential in the world of aviation services. "With a view to that we will maximize the potential that exists with the best alternative and service," he said.
Batik Air comes with full service flight. In a day, he said, there will be two flights. "The direct flight we take two times per day is Pontianak Jakarta at 08:10 am and 12:30 pm,
Batik Air uses Airbus A320 aircraft with 12 seat business configuration and 144 economy. "For the price we offered the cheapest economy starting from Rp 551.000 and promo business started from Rp 1,024,000," he said.
The presence of Batik Air, said Novianti, will not reduce the frequency of Lion Air flight route Pontianak-Jakarta or vice versa which is now nine flights per day.
