JAKARTA - Batik Air is a Full Service Airlines subsidiary of Lion Air Group, Friday, March 3, 2017 organized a safety campaign in the field of air transport in order to improve the quality of service and flight safety.
International Air Transport Association (IATA) noted that the factor of human error is the main cause of accidents around the ramp area and 92% the incident was caused by a lack of training, the condition of the airfield as well as non-compliance with procedures. Based on these data, Batik Air took the initiative to carry out a safety campaign to raise awareness about safety among workers involved either directly or indirectly and users of air transport.
On this occasion Batik Air use theme “Safety First” with the intention that all those who work in Batik Air both landside and airside put safety as their priority. In addition to increasing the awareness of employees and passengers to give priority to safety in work and daily activities, this event is also used as a venue for Batik Air silahturahmi between management with employees who are at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport and Internasionl Soekarno-Hatta Airport. Safety campaign was conducted in two different places, Soekarno-Hatta and Halim Perdanakusuma airport at the same time. This event was attended by the management and employees who are particularly at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport and Soekarno-Hatta. At Halim this campaign was attended by as many as 70 employees. The participants of safety campaigns are AVSEC personnel, GSE Personnel and Technical Personnel.
